Ford has reached one of its milestones. The Performance 2017 Ford GT is almost here, and the fully-loaded power stallion will not disappoint.

“When we kicked off 2016, we had two primary objectives for our Ford GT supercar – to excel at Le Mans, and to start deliveries before year-end,” said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president, global product development, and chief technical officer. “We’ve achieved both.”

The new cruiser features special perks like lightweight materials, aerodynamics, and EcoBoost® engine technologies. The idea was shared with the world at the North American International Auto Show in January 2015. Less than two years after that, Ford Performance began manufacturing the first cars to send to consumers around the globe.
