If you want to see how strong the 2017 Ford Super Duty steel frame is, you've got to check out the latest video from the Tough Science team. The clip is entertaining and informative, and demonstrates that the all-new Super Duty steel frame can withstand the weight of eight Ford trucks, totaling approximately 37,000 pounds.

And yet, not even that was enough for the Tough Science squad.  They decided to kick up the challenge (several notches) by adding a Ford Mighty F7 Tonka -- weighing 13,688 pounds on its own -- to the equation.  In the end, the Super Duty's frame was able to hold as much as 51,260 pounds of truck weight and 8,840 pounds of rigging weight for a total of 60,300 pounds.

As proud purveyors of the latest Super Duty, we can attest to its sturdy, military-grade aluminum frame and overall physical power. If you're in need of a capable and efficient pickup truck for your next daily driver, look no further than our Ford dealership.
